Service Opportunity on Sat. Oct. 3rd! Right down the mountain off I-24 near Manchester lies Blue Monarch, a 12 month residential program for women (and their children) who are recovering from drug addiction, domestic violence and homelessness. We're going to repair a bus stop for the children and to build a covered firewood shelter near their house, plus split some wood for their winter heating needs. We'll take most of the morning and with any luck finish by lunch--grilled right there--then return. If you're interested in lending a hand to this worthy cause, let Mr. Seavey know right away.
